Each year the organization supports Alberta colleges and universities through mentorship programs. Students
from these institutions come to complete practicum work in Education, Early Education, and Social Work.

Edmonton Public Libraries: As part of the literacy program Librarians come to the programs on a regular
basis to read to the children and support their love for literacy.

AHS community health nurses provide the children with height, weight, hearing, and vision tests. Dental
Hygienists also complete checkups to ensure children’s dental health.
